How each sample is read
Rooms by zone
Each room is placed in one of the sixteen zones from its centre, measured from true north, and scored against the zone table. The Brahmasthan at the centre is checked for what the tradition keeps out of it, such as a kitchen, toilet or stair.
The main door
The door's position along its wall gives its pada, one of thirty-two around the plot, and the tradition's reading of that pada.
Āyādi proportions
Length and breadth are converted to hasta and run through the Āyādi formulae. Where āya does not exceed vyaya the card says so rather than hiding it.
