Opening Doha 1
శ్రీగురు చరణ సరోజ రజ నిజ మను ముకురు సుధారి |
బరనఉఁ రఘుబర బిమల జసు జో దాయకు ఫల చారి ||
Meaning: Having cleansed the mirror of my mind with the dust of the holy lotus feet of the Guru, I sing the spotless glory of the greatest scion of the Raghu clan (Sri Rama), which bestows the four fruits of human existence (Dharma, Artha, Kama, Moksha).
Opening Doha 2
బుద్ధిహీన తను జానికై సుమిరౌ పవన-కుమార |
బల బుధి బిద్యా దేహు మోహిం హరహు కలేస బికార ||
Meaning: Knowing myself to be devoid of wisdom, I meditate upon you, O Son of the Wind God (Pavana Kumara). Bestow upon me physical strength, keen intellect, and pure knowledge, and eradicate all my afflictions and imperfections.
Chaupai 1
జయ హనుమాన జ్ఞాన గున సాగర |
జయ కపీస తిహుఁ లోక ఉజాగర ||
Meaning: Victory to you, O Hanuman, vast ocean of wisdom and virtues! Victory to the lord of the monkey warriors, whose effulgence illuminates all the three realms of creation!
Chaupai 2
రామ దూత అతులిత బల ధామా |
అంజని-పుత్ర పవనసుత నామా ||
Meaning: You are the supreme messenger of Lord Rama, the abode of incomparable strength, revered as the son of Mother Anjana and named the child of the Wind God.
Chaupai 3
మహాబీర బిక్రమ బజరంగీ |
కుమతి నివార సుమతి కే సంగీ ||
Meaning: O mighty hero of valiant deeds, with limbs as adamantine as a thunderbolt! You dispel ignorant thoughts and keep eternal company with those who cherish virtuous wisdom.
Chaupai 4
కంచన బరన బిరాజ సుబేసా |
కానన కుండల కుంచిత కేసా ||
Meaning: Your radiant complexion shines like molten gold, elegantly adorned; your ears carry resplendent earrings and your curls of hair flow with majesty.
Closing Doha
పవనతనయ సంకట హరన మంగళ మూరతి రూప |
రామ లఖన సీతా సహిత హృదయ బసహు సుర భూప ||
Meaning: O Son of the Wind God, dispeller of all tribulations and embodiment of divine auspiciousness! Reside eternally in my heart, O king among gods, together with Sri Rama, Lakshmana, and Mother Sita.
