1. The 12 Industrial Machinery Archetypes

Pūjāvāni classifies factory plant equipment into 12 standardized engineering archetypes, assigning each to its optimal thermodynamic and structural direction:

#Machinery / Facility ArchetypePrescribed DirectionTattva ElementStructural & Physics Rationale
1Heavy Stamping & Forging PressesSouth-West (Nairṛti)Earth (Pṛthvī)Extreme cyclical dynamic loads and vibration damping directly into bedrock foundation.
2Industrial Furnaces, Kilns & BoilersSouth-East (Āgneya)Fire (Agni)Concentrated thermal heat generation; exhaust plume vented downwind.
3High-Voltage Transformers & SwitchyardSouth-East (Āgneya)Fire (Agni)Electrical power step-down node and arc-flash containment.

6Air Compressors & Pneumatic TanksNorth-West (Vāyavya)Air (Vāyu)Pressurized gas generation and distribution corridors.
7Automated Raw Material Storage (ASRS)South / South-WestEarth (Pṛthvī)Massive dead-weight raw steel/casting inventory anchoring the campus.

2. The Clockwise Pradakṣiṇā Lean Material Flow

In lean manufacturing (Toyota Production System / Kaizen), eliminating material backtracking and crossover collisions is critical. In Indian Knowledge Systems, this manifests as Pradakṣiṇā Flow (clockwise continuous circulation):

Step 1: Ingestion

Raw materials enter through heavy weighbridge gates in South / South-West.

Step 2: Thermal & Cutting

Material moves clockwise to South-East (heat treat) and West (machining).

Step 3: Precision Metrology

Parts proceed to North / North-East cleanrooms for CMM quality assurance.

Step 4: Dispatch

Packed finished goods exit swiftly from North-West logistics bay.
