Vaasthu Shastra spatial studio

Read a plan against classical and modern Vāstu rules. Draw or import your plot, rooms and main door, say where north came from, and the engine reports the zone each room falls in, the pada of the door and a score, with the traditions and measures it used beside every figure. The reference tables and the concern guide are open to everyone; reading your own plan needs an account with the Vaasthu plan.

Live in partAn advisory reading of classical and modern Vāstu rules against the plan you supplied. It is not structural, legal, planning, medical or financial advice, and it is not an approval or a certificate.

Needs the Vaasthu planThe zone each room falls in, the pada of the main door, the Brahmasthan and a score, worked out from the plot, rooms and door you draw here, and where north came from.

The drawing

Rooms you draw land on this floor; 0 is the ground floor.

1. The plot

Choose the unit, then mark the corners on the drawing or type them.

The unit your measurements are in. Nothing is assumed for you.

Corners of the plot

Walk round the boundary and list each corner in order. The x axis runs to the right of the drawing and the y axis up it. At least three corners make a plot.

No corners yet. Click the drawing, or add one here.

    2. The rooms

    Rooms

Choose each room's use from the list the engine reads. Draw a room with two clicks, or add one here and type its corners.

No rooms yet. A reading of the plot and the door alone is possible, but the zones a room falls in are the substance of it.

      3. The main door

Along the drawing's x axis. Or choose the Main door tool and click the wall.

Along the drawing's y axis, which runs up the sheet.

      4. Where north is

The zones are measured from true north, so the reading needs to know how you found it.

Every zone is measured from true north. If it is unverified, the reading says so.

Clockwise from the top of the drawing: 0 when the arrow points straight up.

      5. How to read it

The tradition is named beside every door verdict it produces.

The hasta (cubit) the Āyādi tests are measured in.

      Keep this plan

Mark at least three corners for the plot, place the main door, and choose a use and three corners for every room, and the plan can be saved.
